Classic lash extensions training in Livingston: a beginner's guide

2 November 2026 · 5 min read

Classic lash extensions — one extension applied to one natural lash — are where every lash artist starts. Mastering isolation, placement and retention here makes volume work easier later. This guide explains what our accredited Classic Lash Extensions course covers.

Why start with classic lashes

Classic application teaches the core skills every lash service depends on: clean isolation, correct attachment and safe working around the eye.

Clients book classic sets for a natural, mascara-like look, so it is a service you can offer straight after training.

What the syllabus covers

The syllabus has 29 topics, from anatomy, consultation and patch testing to lash mapping, application, aftercare and removal. You can see every topic on the course page.

The course is ABT accredited and suits beginners as well as therapists already in the industry.

Price and kit

The course costs £450 and can be paid securely online.

Only the materials needed to complete the course in the salon are provided, and you get advice on building your own kit afterwards.

Everything in this guide is available at our salon in 32 Deans South, Livingston EH54 8DP. See the treatment menu or read client reviews.
